PREMIER league legends and best pals, Roy Keane and Nicky Butt will be in Cork for an “Evening of Craic and Conversation” on Saturday night, May 12.

The Q&A session at Moran’s Silver springs hotel will be two 45 minute stints and the whole get-together is a fund-raiser for Keano’s original club, Rockmount.

The Whitechurch-based club are seeking finance to refurbish their dressing rooms and upgrade their pitches at Rockmount Park and it seemed logical and inevitable that they would turn to their own hero and former Manchester United and Ireland skipper.

Keane has never reneged on requests from Rockmount and on May 12 he and best mate, Mr. Butt will entertain, regale and give United fans and neutrals alike an insight into the workings of Old Trafford, Carrington and the stories behind the acquisition of no fewer than 10 Premier League titles.

Doors will open at 7p.m. and the Q&A will kick-off at 8 o’clock and consist of two halves of 45 minutes duration and Rockmount have set a target of 500 on the night at a cost of 25 euro a head.

*Tickets for the Rockmount fund-raiser can be had from the following outlets:- all Cummins Sports shops, Boston barbers at Mahon Point, Merchant’s Quay and Blackpool; Planet Entertainment Centre, Blackpool and the Bag Warehouse, Merchant’s Quay.
