Two people are believed to be seriously injured after three people fell in separate incidents in Kerry and on the Aran islands today.

A man is on his way to Kerry General Hospital after falling on Mount Brandon.

Meanwhile, a team from Kerry Mountain Rescue has gone to the assistance of a fallen walker in the McGillycuddy Reeks.

It is understood the man has fallen down a gulley in the Hag's Glen.

Elsewhere, the Shannon-based rescue helicoptor is currently airlifting an injured woman from the Aran Islands.
