Cork City FC have signed former Monaghan United winger Keith Quinn.
The 23 year-old winger, who last played for Monaghan United before their withdrawal from the league, previously lined out for Waterford United and Sporting Fingal, following a spell in England with Sheffield United.
“I am pleased to have signed for one of the biggest clubs in the country,” Keith Quinn said.
“The set-up here is brilliant and I have been very impressed with the manager.
“I have been over in England on trial so I have done a pre-season and have played a few games, so I’m fit and I’m very eager to get going now and start training with the lads.
“I have obviously played at Turner’s Cross in the past and the atmosphere was electric, so it is definitely a place that I am looking forward to playing.”
Cork City manager Tommy Dunne is thrilled tohave signed the tricky winger.
“Keith is a good player and he also has plenty of experience of the league,” Tommy Dunne said.
“He has been over in England on trial and he did have offers there, so I am delighted that he has signed for us.
“He is a naturally left-footed player who gives us options out on the left, so I hope that he will settle down and bring something extra to the squad.
“We have been speaking to a couple of other players and I would hope there will be developments on that front over the next couple of days.”
