Motorists in Limerick are being advised of the week long closure of Oola Railway Bridge.

The bridge closed this morning and will remain out of use until 6am on Monday August 27 in order to facilitate the replacement of the bridge on the eastern side of Oola village.

Drivers are being advised that diversions are in place on both sides of the bridge.
