Gardaí are continuing to question two men in connection with an attempted tiger kidnapping in Limerick last weekend.
Last Sunday, an armed gang abducted a 19 year old man from a house in Castletroy.
He was told to demand money from his family - who own a post office - but managed to escape.
The pair - aged 21 and 34 - are being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station under section 50 of the offences against the state act.
They can be held for up to a week.
A third person - a 15 year old boy - has already been charged in connection with this incident.
