Ian Drennan has been named as the new Director of Corporate Enforcement.

The Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton made the announcement today.

He will take up the position tomorrow and replaces Paul Appleby, who held the post since the establishment of the office back in 2001.

Mr Drennan was previously chief executive of the accounting watchdog, IASA.
