WE’VE had a disappointing summer, that no one can dispute. But far from hoping our winter will be a mild one, we’ve actually got our fingers crossed that temperatures will plummet good and proper because winter knits are looking really exciting for next season.
Far from being consigned to casual wear, embellished knits are bang on- trend for evening and occasion wear.
Big cowl necks are cosy and cool while finer, patterned knits work really well under sharp-shouldered blazers.
And it’s not just jumpers either — knitted skirts are getting in on the act.
Paired with fur, they make a glamorous duo, like these looks pictured here from River Island.
