THE owner of the Riverstick shop that sold a 500,000 EuroMillions ticket has said the whole community is buzzing in the hope that one of their own may have scooped the windfall.
Leo Flynn of Centra Riverstick got the call soon after the EuroMillions draw on Friday to be told that his shop had sold a 500,000 EuroMillions Plus winner.
Leo said: the speculation in Riverstick had provided a feelgood factor in the area that it could be a local winner. “Of course I am delighted to sell any winner, but I am hoping against hope it is a local person. This is a wonderful community with marvellous people so to think a local person’s life could change for the better has given us a real boost.”
