Despite the current summer weather many people in Cork will have fond memories of attending major concerts over the years, and often in glorious sunshine. Páirc Uí Chaoimh was a preferred venue for major acts like Michael Jackson, U2, Oasis and the Siamsa Cois Laoi festivals while the Carrigrohane Straigh Road hosted the 2FM Beat on the Street concerts in the 1990s. Were you at some of these gigs and what do remember about them? What concerts stick out in your mind?
