 Vodafone seeking to cut around 130 jobs 7/15/2010 - 3:54:02 PM  Vodafone is looking to reduce its workforce in Ireland. The mobile firm met with staff today and briefed them on plans to seek around 130 redudancies. It has now entered into a consultation process with staff and trade unions, but says it hopes the job cuts can be achieved through voluntary lay offs and early retirement. Vodafone employs 1,200 people in Ireland.
