 Department: Keeping part of Anglo open 'an option' 9/6/2010 - 12:08:31 PM  The Department of Finance is denying reports it has already asked the EU to wind down Anglo Irish bank gradually. The Department has said that keeping part of Anglo open for business "remains an option". The Finance Minister Brian Lenihan is in Brussels today to meet with the EU Commissioner responsible for giving the green light to the bank's future plans. He will meet with his EU counterparts tomorrow as part of the two-day trip. |
