Labour: NAMA was naïve 7/7/2010 - 8:55:56 AM ![]() The Labour party has accused NAMA of "gross naivety". It follows the admission yesterday by the agency that it could make losses of more than €800m after 10 years in operation In its revised business plan, NAMA says just a quarter of the loans its acquired from the country's banks are performing, contrary to its original plan that stated 40% of the loans were making money Labour's Finance Spokesperson Joan Burton says it's also proof of disastrous Government strategy. "The Government set the terms on which NAMA took over these debts," Deputy Burton said. |
