 Mayo crash victim named 8/30/2010 - 11:48:43 PM  Gardai have named the man killed in today's crash in Co.Mayo, as 61 year-old Peter Meenan from Ballyhaunis, Co.Mayo. Gardaí in Claremorris are investigating a fatal road traffic collision between a car and a van. It occurred between 2.30pm and 2.45pm on the main Claremorris to Ballyhaunis road (N60) at the townland of Cuilmore. The male driver in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger has been removed to Mayo General Hospital. The two people who were in the van were uninjured. The scene has been preserved for a technical examination, and diversions are in place.
