Video & Pictures: Fans enjoy Cork Folk Festival

VISITORS to Cork at the weekend had an abundance of music choices with the Cork Folk Festival taking place at several different venues across the city.

Headlining the Cork Folk Festival was an appearance by Mallow-based Beatles and Bob Dylan contemporary, Donovan.

The ‘Sunshine Superman’ singer played the Everyman Palace.

Other big attractions included Planxty’s Andy Irvine who played at the Triskel Christchurch with Tríona and Maighread Ní Dhomhnaill.

Concerts also took place at Cyrpus Avenue, the Oliver Plunkett, St Peter’s Church, Cork City Hall, Cork Opera House, the KINO, Crane Lane and others.
